Frameless entrance doors in Brighton Office Building
Our entrance doors from our commercial collection, are located internally and form security lobby doors to Century House, an 8000 sq foot office building located in Brighton City Centre on the south end of Dyke Road.
The doors come as a double door set with the lead leaf on the right, viewed from the outside. Using thick toughened safety glass and with polished metal rails and hardware, the doors open inwards leading to the main reception area of the office building.
At the top of the door leaves, you’ll see patch fittings. These not only provide a modern look and complement the glass. At the same time they help with connecting the doors to the frame and provide a secure fixing point.
The bottom rails come with full width bottom rails connected to the glass. These rails house the locking system and connect to the floor springs, offering a self-closing facility.
Matching the existing timber doors are a pair of full-height bar handles in satin chrome finish offering convenience when pushing or pulling the doors. The master leaf comes with a satin chrome door knob.
High security access control doors.
At the head of the each of these frameless entrance doors in Brighton is an electrically controlled magnetic lock. It’s these providing the access control. Access control restricts who enters the building. These systems you’ll find in main entrance doors to apartment buildings, banks, retail shops with high value items and other installations.
Externally, authorised users of access control systems enter via a keycode, swipe-card or key fob. There’s also the option for buzzing in by a receptionist of building occupier. Internally those leaving the building do so via a push button release or buzzed out by a receptionist.
Above all, magnetic locks provide an excellent security and access control feature. They’re designed to hold extreme forces and are always reliable. They also have the option of choosing what happens in the event of a power failure. Some magnetic locks fail safe meaning users can leave the building. Others operate on a fail-secure method meaning the doors stay locks should power fail.
