A new single glazed porch, with glass corners, supplied and fitted by FGC to a traditional property in South-East London.
The new porch comes in a modern design having a single central door with glazed side panels. Each side panel is seamlessly connected to a 90-degree corner panel creating a frameless glass box. The door joins the side and top glazing with a smooth seal that is also discreet, adding to the overall frameless appearance of the new porch. The same applies to the side returns.
The entire porch comes fitted with 10mm clear toughened single glass. This door opens outwards, having the same glass but with smooth edges as there is no metal frame around the door itself. The door also has a stainless steel lever-lever handle with locking facility.
This new porch provides a contemporary appearance with functionality. It also shows how a new space is created with what was an original concrete canopy. Now there is a sealed entrance way with a new look to the front of the house.
The door comes with a self-closing floor spring hinge and all hinges and other metal fittings provided are in brushed stainless steel.
