How frameless bifolds look better.

There are many different types of properties where bifolding doors have been fitted.

In fact, even the smallest terraced townhouse can benefit from bifolding doors as a way to expand the space, bring more light into the home and add value with comfort.

Adding value to your new extension.

Many larger properties have recently been enhanced with the additional of large extensions to provide a great open plan living area.  Many of these extensions are intended to be flooded with light and what better way to do this than with a bifolding door.

However if you’re feeling adventurous and have the right property why not have more than one bifolding door? What better way to truly open up your space and enjoy tremendous views of your outside space?

If you are considering building a large extension with more than one set of bifolding doors, we think you ought to consider frameless doors.  Not only will these give you lots more light, but aesthetically they will be less bulky and visible than other full framed doors.

This is especially the case where doors are in close proximity to each other.

Compare for yourselves. What do you think?

In our gallery below we show installations of full framed aluminium bifolding doors and also similar projects we have carried out with our unique and innovative frameless glass doors.  We are sure you will agree that frameless glass doors look different and make any modern extension even more unusual.

What our customers say

Following the installation of our new FGC porch, I wanted to give a recommendation for the excellent and diligent service, and wonderful product we received from FGC. Numerous people have commented since we had the work done, and it has clearly added value – both visually and financially – to our property. Also, when the guys came to fit the product, it was noted that there was a slight flaw in one of the specially

Following the installation of our “double glazed curtains” we would like to say we are delighted with the result. The amount of light now coming into the living room is so different, we are also pleased with the amount of noise they keep out, We are glad we had them double glazed. Paul was a good ambassador for the firm and did an excellent job.

After researching the market for a contemporary sliding minimal frame patio door, we were delighted to come across Frameless Glass Curtains. We were so pleased with the doors we ordered another set for the dining room and were not let down – the service we received was consistently good from staff both in and out of the office. From the start they have been knowledgeable, polite and happy to spend time helping us with our

We used FGC to manufacture and install frameless glass doors on all three sides of a large terrace bay. The design was complex and required a flexible and innovative approach to their existing designs. The result was outstanding – clear uninterrupted views over the countryside and a flexible opening pattern which allows fresh air no matter the weather. FGC worked well with the architects and builders on this major project and have provided a responsive

We had 3 sets of doors installed in April. We had searched far and wide for bifold doors and those supplied by FGC were undoubtedly the most striking. We have had favourable comments from visitors and the doors are functioning well. Our dealings with FGC have been excellent and they have attended since the installation to make some adjustments. Although this is an expensive product, it looks stunning and has performed well. FGC worked closely

We are both delighted with the FGC product and have no issues with any future viewings. From our perspective the “outside has truly come inside”, we use the decking on a daily basis as the FGC curtains have transformed the house which I think adds a significant value to the property. The only trouble now is that when we see home improvement programs such as Grand Designs where they suggest using bi-fold doors we end

FGC fitters Mick and Baz arrived at 0754hr ready to begin work. They were polite, helpful and fitted in seamlessly with the existing project team responsible for the restoration of this significant village property. The boys worked without fuss, cheerful with a ‘can do’ attitude taking the time to explain the system as they fitted it. The house belongs to Simon Menzies an old friend from the Army, he and his wife were not present,
