Our frameless, bespoke and unique slide and fold doors offer you more benefits than a conventional bifold or patio door. Designed and made by our family business in Kent, we are proud of our worldwide reputation for manufacturing the leading product of its kind. As a result, demand is now at a point where we desperately need more space.
Frameless bifolding doors, proudly made in Kent.
Our commitment to creating exceptional products now means we need to expand. However, our top priority remains to manufacture in Kent and employ local people.
The team at Frameless Glass Curtains invited Medway Council Leader Cllr Alan Jarrett to visit our factory in early December. Our intention, to persuade him to support our expansion plans.
We have been telling Medway Council for some time that we believe we can double our workforce. We need their support for our plans to buy land we need on the nearby Rochester Airport site. Progress has so far been slow.

To demonstrate to our local Council and convince them to back our expansion, as well as create local jobs, we showed Cllr Jarrett our current cramped showroom and factory and asked for his support.
Our Managing Director, Gary Beresford says:
We were delighted that he took time out of his busy schedule to visit the factory. It was a useful meeting, Cllr Jarrett seemed to be impressed and we hope he will put our case to the council. We told him that we want to stay in Medway because that’s where our workforce lives.
We have built up a world-class reputation for our bespoke, frameless double-glazed curtain system and we want Medway to be proud of what we have achieved.
Our worldwide customer base was highlighted when Gary told Cllr Jarrett that the glass curtains he was looking at were destined for Scotland, only for son and business partner Paul to point out that they were actually for a customer in Nice, France.
We are incredibly proud of our unique, Medway-designed and built products, transforming the light and feeling of space in homes and businesses across the USA, Europe and The Caribbean. We also have a licensing agreement with an Australian manufacturer and are in discussions for an export deal with a German company.
Councillor Jarrett commented:
It was a very informative visit, and I was impressed at what FGC has created here. We certainly had a very useful discussion.
